My Creative Story
One of my earliest memories is waking early and drawing. I have always been a very early riser, and my parents left me art materials in my bedroom so I wouldn't wake them first thing. I can remember sitting there and drawing and telling stories in my mind, and that was the foundation of my art practice.
I have a fairly relaxed attitude to materials and love to work across different disciplines, often working three-dimensionally as well as with painting and drawing. My work often explores the landscape and how we, as humans, connect with it.
My faith is the bedrock of my creativity. I am getting bolder as I get older about making that evident within my work. I endeavour to do this in a way that is both contemporary and engaging.
